Juri Kannheiser
studied music pedagogy at the Munich Academy for Music and Theater and cello with Katalin Rootering. He particiipated in many master classes, among others, with Prof. Wen-Sinn Yang, Prof. Reiner Ginzel and Prof. Wolfgang Boettcher.
From 2010 to 2015 he had a scholarship for Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Augsburg. Together with Alexander Maschke and Philipp Weiß he formed the Ensemble for free Improvisation, „Out Of Control“. He is a member of the Arcis Cello Quartett and plays with various ensembles including
Hanna Sikasa, Ensemble 11 and Ralph Heidels Homo Ludens.
